The Calamity Club

I swear, I cannot believe she's done it again! Kathryn Stockett returns with another fabulous novel after The Help took the world by storm back in 2009. I absolutely devoured Calamity Club, a funny, heartbreaking, and life-giving story set in Oxford, MS, in 1933. It's a testament to underestimated women everywhere, proving that hard times are the mother of invention, and just wait until you see what Birdie, our main character, and her unsuspecting band of merry sisters cook up when she's pushed into a corner. This book is my favorite of the spring, and I give it 5/5 stars.
